We are taking advantage of the last day of the year to take a stroll into our beautiful region.<\/p>\n

The weather is cool but beautiful, perfect for a nice family walk in the Uz\u00e8s area.<\/p>\n

We chose the Capitelles trail, although we had already done it some time ago. It was renovated in 2023: clearing of the vegetation, restoring the Capitelles…<\/p>\n

We used the recommended route from the Rando Gard<\/a> website. We parked in the free car park at “Le refuge” and from there we followed the guide’s instructions. It is very well explained, you just have to follow the yellow trail, the path is quite well marked.<\/p>\n

This route is approximately 11.2 km with 330m of elevation gain. Allow approximately 3h30.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Starting with the Moulin de Carri\u00e8re<\/strong> and the Chateau de B\u00e9rard<\/strong>. At this point you will enjoy a great panorama of Uz\u00e8s<\/strong> with its four towers: Bermonde tower<\/strong>, Bishop’s tower<\/strong>, King’s tower<\/strong> and Fenestrelle tower<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In this valley you will enjoy a beautiful expanse of greenery, a river lined with plane trees that you will cross using a suspension bridge. Before returning to the parking lot, admire the “Duch\u00e9”<\/strong> and don’t forget to go through the “Place aux Herbes”<\/strong>.
